 Wenting Yu teaches interpreting for the translation and interpretation majors at the College of English Studes, Shanghai International Studies University (SISU). She obtained her PhD degree in Linguistics from SISU in 2012. She was a visiting post-doctoral researcher at Leiden University Center for Linguistics (2012–2013). She specializes in interdisciplinary studies of interpreting, prosody, psycholinguistics and second language acquisition. Her publications include work on cognitive processing in interpreting, and interpreter training.
