Tony Hong
I graduated with a PhD from the School of International Studies, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China in 2019. I previously worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the same university and was also a lecturer for the Sino-German Institute, Zhejiang Wanli University. Due to my particular interest in the fields of international relations and global communications, my research has been focused on soft power, news media and public diplomacy. I am currently co-authoring a Routledge book on China’s non-state public diplomacy actors and traditional culture.
